Charging sound on Ipad

Question

My new IPad Pro does not sound when plugged for charging. It originally did, but now it does not.

Look at the Alert Volume in Settings > General > Sounds.

Is your iPad muted? Pull down from the upper right corner > Tap the icon of a red bell.

Check the iPad volume. If it is not turned up much, you won't hear the connection sound.
