Cracked Band Below Screen

Ok so I had my earbuds on my laptop, and without thinking, I closed the computer. I heard cracking, immediatly opened it to see a hole in the metal band, next to the word "macbook air" will i have to get the whole screen replaced, or just the band. and how much will it cost?

Help! Cracked area Hello! So I got a headphone jack thing stuck in the gap between the screen and main computer body while i was closing the lid and It cracked this glass portion infront of the screen. The screen is NOT affected or warped or anything. just seeing what has to be done and a rough estimate of cost. This is a 2019 macbook air.

Cracked Macbook Screen I dropped my Macbook last year on its bottom right hand corner. The screen cracked a little bit, maybe about half an inch long. Since then I have had no problems but behind the crack, there is a black line behind the crack that has slowly been expanding. It it now about a centimeter wide. I have not damaged my laptop since. Just now though, I opened my laptop and the crack from the original drop has extended across the screen about 5-6 inches and I did not even do anything to cause this?? I wanted to know how I can get this fixed and how much it would cost.
