How do I get Siri to play the album rather than just the title song?

I have already tried “Hey Siri, play album x” multiple times on multiple albums and it only plays the title song if it is the same title as the album.

Siri commands Hi there I use Siri in the car all of the time on my iPod touch 7th generation while driving and it works great. However, when a song is playing, I used to be able to say "Siri, play the current album next" and it would queue it, but this no longer works. I receive a message that this command can't be performed while song is playing. Grrr!!! Also, a feature I would love to see in Siri which frustrates me that it isn't there. When a song is playing, I would like Siri to play the album containing this song. Maybe I'm just not asking properly. Thanks D

Siri won’t play songs that are not in my music library since updating to iOS 16 I updated to iOS 16 the other day, and now Siri will not play songs that are not in my music library, when my phone is connected to CarPlay. I am driving so I can’t open my phone to search for a song. If I ask for a song that has a similar title (or the same word in the title) to something in my library, Siri will play that. But if I ask for song that is not at all similar to a song in my library, Siri says “sorry that song is not in your Apple Music library”. Is this a bug in iOS 16 or do I need to update a setting?

A workaround might be to create a playlist with a unique name that Siri cannot misinterpret.
