My iphone 8 is making a weird high-pitched noise
I dropped it and then afterwards i clicked the home button and it made that noise. Then when i switched it to silent mode it buzzed and made a smaller similar noise.

It “sounds” (pardon the pun) like the iPhone is damaged.
Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess the iPhone and advise you how to proceed.
