I have an android phone and I would like to copy my contacts to my I Pad. Is there a way to do this?

You can use Apple’s Move to iOS application available on the Google Play store.

If you're using Gmail/Google to manage your contacts on your Android phone, all you need to do is sign in to that account on your iPhone. Settings>Accounts & Passwords>Add Account.
