We just bought Apple iPhone 11's and iTunes Does Not recognize either phone!!! I had Zero issues with our OLD 4S's!!! What Gives!!! The Verizon Retailer told us that all we had to do was to connect the phone to the Mac and it would be a SNAP!!!

What must I do to get the iPhone 11 to be recognized by iTunes?

iMac 21.5"

Hi Ed2345, checked Finder and No iPhone Device showing there!!

Hello Dick, If the phone is unlocked and is connected to the Mac by USB, it should look like you see in here:

If for some reason it does not appear, follow the troubleshooting steps in here:

Hi, I'm using Sierra and iTunes 12.8.3. Don't like updating the Mac iSO all the time as I'm running Parallels and Windows in a virtual machine. Also, I have an OLD HP-6L laser printer that I use on a USB port and updates on the Mac messes with these!! I saw another post in Apple Support that indicated that iTunes needed to be updated, but can't find a way to force iTunes to check for updates. The iPhone shows in System Information/USB, but not in iTunes so I will check Fincer to see it it appears in there! Thanks for the suggestion!!!
