Disabled Phone

Apple phone is disabled and tells me to connect to iTunes which I have but don't know where to go from there to unlock the phone

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12

On your PC or desktop , have the itunes open and running, and connect your phone to the computer.

Once you do that, iTunes should recognize after a few seconds that there is an iphone connected and it will say it will restore the iphone, and you should have the option to restore it to factory defaults. Also, your desktop or laptop must be connected to the internet via wifi or ethernet cable and you must be signed in to your Apple acct with iTunes.
