My son's iPhone 4 won't let me add my credit card
I am trying to add a payment to my sons ipone 4 that i bought off of someone and it wont let me add my credit card?

You cannot use Apple Pay with an iPhone 4. You should be able to add it to the Apple ID payment method. You could set up family sharing and add his Apple ID to it that way he does not need a card on his phone.
