iPad Mini 2 not turning om

So my iPad has been working normally until ios 12... you see when my ipad was on ios 11(ALL THROUGHOUT) my ipad worked perfectly, until i finally updated it to ios 12... after this I experienced problems, like at times my screen would go black for a second and go back to normal, so I thought that maybe, just maybe if I update my ipad everything will go back to normal, but no, now the ipad won't even turn on, i tried doing what everyone says to do "hold the power and home button until you see the apple logo pop up" didn't work, so i went on here and i actually found many people complain about this issue but apple hasn't responded at all, which is kinda silly since this problem has been going on for a whole year... Sorry for my horrible grammar, I just finally want an actual, helpful response right now cuz this is just ridiculous, and I ain't spending **** on a new iPad.
