I have lost my me.com (main) account after uploading an update

I uploaded an update yesterday and now my main account C....R@me.com is gone! It is still on my phone but not on my laptop. What the heck?????

So add the account back in System Preferences, Internet Accounts, then hit the +

Its on the phone so the mails are in the web account and safe.


Is it the one with the triangle?


If so right click on it in the left pane and click "take acct offline", then put it back online the same way.

If that doesn't work then in internet accounts delete the account with - sign and then add it back as in my previous answer. All your mail folders will repopulate.

thank you for your response but it does not help. It is GONE. There are no references to it. But it is still on my iPhone! I don't know how to get it back onto my computer. I thought maybe I could sync the two devices (which should happen automatically) but with the new iTunes, I cannot find the link to my phone.
