How do you rotate text within a Numbers cell

You can't (yet) rotate a table cell in Numbers.

Here is a workaround that (sorry!) uses text boxes.

Rotation of text in Numbers is supported only for x-xis labels on charts.

You can add to the list of users requesting this feature using the Provide Numbers Feedback item in the Numbers menu, visible when Numbers is th front application on your Mac.
