I have an iPhone XR with no screen protector. Last night I noticed a faint dark line following the curvature of my phone on the bottom left corner. I am currently on iOS 12. Searching this problem it appears this is a common issue with the XR screen specifically (found a post on this discussion thread as well from August but apple closed it. Is this a defect?

With the concerns you're seeing on your display, I recommend contacting Apple Support, or the nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider:

I have the same problem. Can you say if it is a software issue, a defect in the screen, something else? And what can the Apple support/ store so to fix this? (Sceen replacement, software, something else).
