I am charging my iPhone 8, and it's been stuck at the same % for the last hour. I powered it off and powered it back on and it jumped up to a higher percentage. Why is it doing this?
I've seen some other people experiencing this problem, but apple hasnt bothered to address it.

Check also your battery health going to Settings>Battery>Battery Health... and tapping it. If the value is less than 82-83%, your battery could be reaching the critical point of its life, and could have unpredictable behaviors.
If the issue still persists, have your iPhone inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.
