Where do MESSAGES from Photo Booth go?

This morning, I received a photo from a friend of mine through Facebook. I tried to send her my photo from Photo Booth in a way I've never tried before: through "Messages." It didn't work.

My mistake was in confusing "Messages" with "Messenger," which is somehow connected with Facebook, but the main problem is that I don't know anything about the "Messages." command in Photo Booth. How is it supposed to be used?

Actually, my main concern is in returning my picture to the site from which she sent hers. How do I send a photo from "Photo Booth" to Facebook?

Using the Messages option will let you send the picture through the Apple Messages app.

How do you usually send a picture through FaceBook Messenger? I don't use it much. You can use the File>Export command to save the picture from Photo Booth to wherever you prefer. You should then be able to access it the way you generally access photos to sent through Messenger.
