I have a iPhone XR that it's under Consumer Cellular Blocked Policy adn i can't find a way to unlock it
I bought this phone from Bestbuy and it is a universal unlocked phone (Model A1984). The phone is activated by a Consume Cellular SIM card. After about two months of use, I tried to put a cricket SIM card in but it won't activate the phone. I called Consumer Cellular multiple times and their responds were they couldn't find the phone according to the IMEI I provided under my CC account and they could never ever lock a universal unlocked phone.
And I also talked to Apple, they replied and clearly stated that the phone is locked to CC's network, it should be the problem on the CC's end, Apple can do nothing about it.
Both sides are pushing me to each other and I couldn't find a way to unlocked the phone. And they both advise to buy a new SIM card, would this help?
Please if someone has similar experience tell me what I should do, it has been almost a month and the situation has not been improved. Thank you!
