Hello, arcadiax.

Thanks for bringing me this question. I understand you're curious if your iPhone that was purchased in China is able to be used in Canada. International iPhone sales can be a little tricky, and you did the right thing by reaching out.

If the iPhone is currently locked to a Chinese carrier, you will need to reach out to that carrier to have the device unlocked. You can see more details for unlocking your iPhone from the following article: How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support

If it is unlocked, you should only need to pop in a SIM and follow standard activation steps (Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch). Even though the iPhone is now activated, there may be certain feature limitations on a device made for use in China. An excellent overview can be found here: iOS and iPadOS Feature Availability.

Additionally, parts and service may not be available for this device at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

I hope you find this information helpful. Be sure to let me know if you have other questions.

Best Regards.
