What to do if hard reset on apple watch won't force a restart?

Wore my watch swimming (snorkeling) to depth of less than 10 feet. Afterwards it started dialing emergency sos as if there was a medical emergency. I expressed water by turning the crown as usual but the watch went dark. Apple logo reappeared when I put it on the charger but it never restarted and a force restart does nothing either.

Unable to turn on apple watch I went swimming today, but not for long. My watch was is water lock mode, but then it suddenly started calling the 911 emergency line. I had to to stop and then the green light in the bottom kept flashing. It is finally off, but the apple logo keeps flashing. I have attempted to hold both buttons down and it is still not working. Just shows the logo and goes back to the black screen.

Watch doesn’t turn on I have an Apple Watch Series 6 - long story short I went swimming with it on and had the water lock feature turned on. It then died due to low battery and now when I try turn the device on it’ll show the Apple logo and then switch off instantly. I went to the Apple Store and even though they didn’t know what the issue was they wanted to charge me £280 to fix it. Can someone help/advise me on what to do?

I think you need to take to an apple store and let them have a look at it.
