Mojave Install not Working

I tried to update to Mojave (still using 32-bit apps, so Catalina is not an option right now), but when I open it on the App Store, I get the following message: "This copy of the Install macOS Mojave.app application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install." Suggestions?

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.12

Look in your Applications Folder for "Install macOS Mojave.app". If it is there drag it to the Trash. Enter your administrative password to trash it. Download a fresh copy of the macOS Mojave installer.
