Is there a quality difference between connecting phone call to the HomePod via Bluetooth verses WiFi?

It seems I can connect my phone to the HomePod via WiFi or Bluetooth while on phone calls (using both microphone and speaker). Is there a quality difference between the two options?

See Make and answer phone calls on HomePod - Apple Support for details of this feature. I don't think you have any control over which protocols will be used. In general it seems that Bluetooth on HomePod is primarily used for set up.
