iPhone XR ghost touch problem

I have a ghost touch problem in my XR in specific temperatures. The screen becomes responsive when the phone is taken under the sun. This is so frustrating as it took 3-4 tries even for authorised service center to detect the problem through diagnostics. Sad part is that the diagnostics didn't show up anything when my phone was under warranty. Now they want to pay me ~$250 to get the screen replaced!

I have seen a lot of people reporting ghost touch problem for iPhone XR. If this is so prevalent, why is Apple not running a recall program like they did for iPhone X?
