connect printer to new mac

I am sorry, HP’s drivers for this printer use a legacy software architecture that is incompatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. HP would have to update their drivers (which unfortunately I doubt they would) in order for you to use this printer.

I have no idea if this will work, but it will not hurt anything. Reset your printing system. Reinstall the printer and select AirPrint as the driver.

I have no way of testing this.; but again, it will not hurt.
