I hv the double sim sim slot from HongKong but i hv bought the iphone 11 pro max at US, now i install both sim in the slot but only one is recognized! Is there any obligation made in ios so that any phone purchaged outside of china doesnt support double sim

U.S. iPhone does not use double SIM.
U.S. iPhone support eSIM and nano SIM but not double nano SIM
If you want double SIM support, buy an iPhone made for HK or China.
The U.S. iPhone has eSIM and nano SIM.
It does not support double SIM on one tray.
You cannot make it to work with Double SIM it has to be as ckuan said, SIM Card: Dual SIM (nano‑SIM and eSIM)
