right AirPod doesn’t work

my right AirPod doesn’t have any audio when it’s connected to my phone. Left one works just fine, makes the noise when connect, but right AirPod doesn’t seem to make any noise or doesn’t have audio. Even when the AirPods display comes up when case is open, it shows both AirPods but when the left one is taken out, only shows the left AirPod, but not the right one. When the right AirPod is taken out doesn’t seem to have any indication that it is connecting.
