Finding a weather app for my MacBook Pro
what is the best simple Local Weather app for New York City Area
I don't think anyone can say that there's a best weather app because what each person wants from a weather app differs. On my computer I want to see what's happening outside and nothing more. Others want to see weather forecasts, maps, etc. I use a program called iStat Menu which puts information on the menubar which can include an icon showing current temp and weather conditions (rain, snow, etc) Selecting the item lets me see a bit more info. Nothing fancy but it shows what I need. On my iPhone I have a program called Carrot Weather which provides much more - including an attitude.
