I updated an app on my iPhone it tried to open but showed the company logo and then went to the screen showing all my apps. There is a blue dot in front of the title of the app. Every time I try to launch the app the logo comes up and it goes back to apps

Have you already tried to delete that app, then restart your iphone, then download/install that app again?
If this doesn't help, contact the app's support team and ask them.
