My right AirPod won’t connect no matter what I do

My charge status menu won’t show up when I open the lid to my case and my right air pod won’t connect no matter what I do.I got them this year a few months ago. I have tried resetting my AirPods, disconnecting and connecting them, restarting my phone, cleaning my AirPods and nothing works. What do I do now?

Hello,

Yes, the charge menu doesn't always show up. Sometimes it take a minute or two. You might try the battery widget on the Daily View screen (swipe right from the first Home screen). It seems a little more reliable.

For your other issues, try a full reset:

Reset your AirPods
