Hello,

You cannot synchronize Notes on an iPad running iPadOS 13 with a Macintosh running macOS 10.11 El Capitan. You will need to update your Macintosh to macOS 10.15 Catalina. If your Macintosh does not support macOS 10.15 then you cannot synchronize Notes with your Mac.

You may be able to view your notes from iCloud.com > Notes.

Pick a different notes app to use that can sync across other cloud services.

Plenty of really good paid, third party notes style apps to choose from.

You are NOT stuck with the basic, default iOS Notes app.

Helo !

I thought so, but I wanted to be sure.

So it's a dead end, because the MacBook Pro in question is 2009 17´MacBook Pro in perfect working order and Apple doesn't allow upgrades OS.

I would have preferred not to update my iPad, because with the update it ceased to be useful for me and my working team.

I am very disappointed with the latest Apple products... really.
