Apple ID: log in options to the support community and password

to log in to to the support community i use my apple ID. and i used the password i set up to go with my apple ID but can I set a separate new password for the community discussions so that my password is not reused?...after all i use the password for all transactions with Apple. or is it safe to simply use the apple ID and its password

You can only have one password for your Apple ID. It is safe to log in using the apple ID and its password.
