iCloud files are offloading on Mac

Hi,

Is there a way to prevent iCloud automatically off-load files from my mac?

I'm talking about .icloud files that appear instead of original ones.

This is driving me crazy, as every time I'm opening my project (that I stupidly decided to add under iCloud drive), I need to go to finder and click on 'download' folder button.

I know, that a possible solution could be just using normal Google Drive or Dropbox, but I'm paying already for 2TB of iCloud
