Do Not Disturb App Exemptions

So I recently purchased my 1st Iphone. When setting up my device, I noticed that the Do Not Disturb menu does not give you options to exempt certain apps. It does allow a Favorites contact list to be exempt but not apps. I would like to keep my favorites list exempt (for emergencies) and I would also like to keep my home security (ADT) and Ring (Doorbell) app exempt so I can be notified while or if something is going on. I had an incident happen where someone was walking on my porch around 2:30am and I had no clue because my phone was on Do Not Disturb. I only want notifications from those certain apps while i'm asleep... I want to know while it's happening, not just get a notification of the incident when I wake up. Any help here?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13
