duplicate card charging

i just rented a movie then my card was charge multiple same amount. What happen and how to stop it

Does it show multiple times on the iTunes account : If you see apple.com/bill, itunes.com/bill, or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support ? Or are they just authorisation holds ?
