remote access scam on ipad

I walked in on my Father who was on the phone to scammer, having downloaded QuickSupport TeamViewer and given the code for remote access. He had not yet opened banking details for his “refund”. I have deleted the app of his ipad - is this enough? Can malware be put on an iPad via this app? Is the access a once only event or should I be concerned? Is there any benefit to resetting his iPad? In other words- what should I do to make sure his iPad is safe to use again?

iPads cannot get malware unless it is jailbroken. Your father best change his Apple ID and password, also change out his "banking password" to be safe.
