Microsoft Works to be read by Mac

Your only hope is LibreOffice v6.3.4.2 (2019-12-18) which continues to offer support for Microsoft Works documents. Support in that it will open them, and you can then save them in Word .docx format.

If you want to automate this process, after determining how well it converts them manually, post back.

You may be able to convert them to a MS Office format on your PC. If not, considering their age your best bet may be LibreOffice.

Microsoft Works?

Microsoft Works has been dead for years.

LibreOffice used to include a converter for MS Works format files, but I don't know if they still do.

Another method of locating the files is to use the FindAnyFile app. I've found this app easier to use then Finder.

I am hoping the MS guy would have put those in the Documents folder. It can be accessed from the Dock at the page bottom:

Seriously, the last release of Microsoft Works was almost 13 years ago! You should have converted those files years ago!
