New MacBook Air 2019 freezing

Hi guys,

Just recently bought a new MacBook Air 2019 and it freezes semi-regularly.. not sure if this is normal or indicative of something more sinister. I don't have a lot of apps/docs etc. taking up space and it happens if I have only safari open with ~3 tabs open. I use command control esc to close programmes but just worried it might mean that there's something wrong with the Mac itself!

I might be just paranoid, saved a while to buy this and want to make sure it isn't faulty! ahaha

Hi,

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202731

If there is no report, try to boot in Safe Mode to isolate issues with your Mac.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201232

If these don't help, you'd better contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation or take your MacBook Air to Apple Authorized Service Provider to check it up before 1 year limited warranty is expired.
