The tip of my charger broke off in my ipad

Take it to an authorized repair center (Apple Store or Best Buy, for example) where it can be safely and properly removed. Do not try doing it yourself as you could accidentally damage the charging port and your iPad would be toast. It goes without saying this is not covered by any warranty.

take it to the nearest apple store or apple authorized service center. we have no idea if the receptacle on the other end is damaged or a potential hazard and it's not a good idea to guess when electricity is involved.
