I recently bought my new iPhone 11 Pro Max and always used with official apple leather case and tempered glass. Normal use, never dropped, took always in my pocket not with keys or coins. I noticed a small scratch on the ultra wide camera. I have heard the camera glass is a very hard and durable material, it is sapphire and it should not so easy to get scratched. Possibly manufacturing problem?

Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them.
Update: nobody will swap it with a brand new phone. The only option is Apple Care maintenance, they will decide whether they fix it or they swap it with a certified Apple refurbished phone.
In both cases I am worried that the new phone will loose its dust and water resistance.
They told me it could be because the iPhone is new but they can’t swap it because I bought it from another premium reseller. The premium reseller won’t swap it because it’s has been more then 7 days since I bought it and they can’t do it. Very frustrating.
