Simple Inventory Count Worksheet

I am currently doing an inventory count at my job. The way they count is with pen and paper. I am trying to streamline their process with my iPhone, Numbers, and a bluetooth scan gun. I have set up the spreadsheet so I can scan a location in a column, and then scan the raw ASCII data from the bar-code from each item into the rows beneath. When I get to the end of a section, I need to find a quick way to move to the top row of the next column. Right now, I have to stop what I am doing, go to my iPhone and physically press on the correct cell, which with my big fingers can be a little difficult and time consuming. I am also using a old Symbol LS4278 Scan gun, which I can program key commands into, but only Windows based key commands. Is this something that will be possible with the set up I have, or am I barking up the wrong tree and need to find a different solution?

Hard to describe what I need in the subject field... I am unsure how to ask this question, but I'll do my best. I have inventory counts using what is called "Article Codes" that are assigned to each item by the host dB system for tracking. They are similar to UPC codes but are only for my use. Each Article Code is technically 13 digits long and starts at 2100000000000. When I run an inventory report through my hosting company, each item is shown with 12 digits. This is fine, because that 13th digit can be used for multiples of the same item if needed. However, when I use my wireless pocket scanner to scan each label (for inventory checks), the scanner gives me the last 8 digits of the full 13. For example, an inventory report would show "210000015201" in csv file; the scanner puts"00152016" in the table I am using for the counts for that particular time, whether I use my iMac, iPad Pro, or iPhone; or whether I use Numbers, Excel, Pages, Notes, OS or Windows...it doesn't matter. In order to compare what the Report shows for each item, and what I actually have On-Hand from the scanner, I need to somehow insert the initial "21000" part of the Article Code in front of the scanned number, in each cell of that column. The other kicker is, the scanner doesn't put the any of the "0" in the cell that are first (no matter how I format the column to accept data input). So item 210000000432 is scanned as 4321, not 00004321; item 210000086838 is scanned as 868381; and item 210001539901 is scanned at 15399019. Any suggestions, comments, work-arounds, or thoughts would be very appreciated. There has GOT to be a way that doesn't involve typing 21000* in each active cell for over 2,200 rows of one column.
