Mail issues
I have a few computers networked but have started having problems with my Apple mail. Is it possible to have a conflict with mail since one computer is on a different operating system & can't be updated any longer?

Ok so before i go may i ask what version the computer that you speak of is on
Can you tell me the software and design of the desktop in other words the version it is on and what kind of desktop it is.
Thank you rexp2007, maybe I'm not asking my question correctly. I read through your suggestions & did learn a bit but the issue is more when I'm trying to forward one email from the older computer (older mail version) to the newer computer (newest mail version), it doesn't work. I'm being told I can no longer use Apple mail on my old system because it's incompatible (out of date). I just find this to be odd & I'm questioning the advice I'm being given
Actually you can still do it if you would like to know how please follow up with me on this form because i am about to be offline for 1 hour or 2
Also please call me Rex
Thank you Rex,
Yes, please tell me what I can do!
I need it to classify the best and most proficient option
iMac 21.5" late 2009 running El Capitan 10.11.6
Mail version is 9.3
Computer I'm sending to is a brand new iMac Retina 5K running Mojave 10.14.6 with mail version 12.4
Do you have a backup drive maybe even 2 would be grate
if you have one it will be a lot more complicated so 2 would be better
I only have one back up device but I do have other external sources I can copy files to if need be
Cool sorry just got back from winter break. Do you know how big the backup drive is.
