Hello,
I am trying to set up my IPad 5th Gen I received today and it won't sign into my Apple ID. It tries to sign in for about 30 seconds and then says Verification Failed. I reset my password and was able to update and log in on my Iphone but it won't work on my Ipad.
Help?

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try a forced restart.
If necessary
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.
Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
Did you try the other suggestions like a different WiFi network?
This is a new IPad I just set up. It is still on the factory settings and restarting does not help. It still says verification failed. Just logged out and back in on my phone and it works on that but not the IPad. Other suggestions?
