traded in my old phone for an 11.
put in new apple id. can not update apps...shows old i.d.
when go to account settings shows new account email...but when go to update apps..diplays old apple i.d.
how do i get that changed to my new one?

You can't transfer purchases between Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
