Static Noise During iMessage Audio Recording

Every time I use the audio recording feature in my iMessage, the recording comes out extremely staticky and you cannot hear anything that was said. The mic works perfectly fine in any other apps including voice memo, as well as during videos and while on the phone. Is there a way to fix this??

It only happens on iMessage I tested it out on Instagram Snapchat and WhatsApp send audio messages are perfect why is this happening on iMessage. When attempting to send an audio message on my iPhone 12 Pro Max the microphone quality is terrible Someone brought this up a few years ago and I’m hoping I can find a resolution. My audio recordings on iMessage aren’t working well. At first you couldn’t hear my recordings at all & it would go in & out but after speaking with Apple they had me try a few things & now it somewhat works after 3 seconds of working. It starts off low and then returns back to normal which is very strange. I was told it’s either a hardware or software issue (my battery being depleted) but I highly doubt it’s a hardware issue as I know people with very old phones and they don’t have this issue. My phone is on the latest update, it’s an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve done everything and it’s super frustrating so if someone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated [Re-Titled by Moderator]
