With iOS 13, whenever I try to AirPlay something from my phone to an Apple TV or HomePod, it doesn’t keep my phone as the source of the content. It plays the content directly on the device itself instead of having it come from my phone to the device. Is there any way to change this?

There doesn't appear to be any way to disable this automatic handoff feature. It should save power on your iPhone.
