Can’t sign in to apple ID when overseas

Hi, I’m currently overseas (in Japan) and I’m from Singapore. I’m having trouble updating apps so I tried to log out of Apple ID and log back in. Now I’m having issues logging back in and I’m constantly stuck on the “Signing in to Apple Media Services” page with no real progress. Would appreciate some quick advice.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
