MacBook will not boot up-fan turns on at full speed. And, cannot shut down by holding power button. Must unplug power to shut fan off. Battery will not charge either. What is solution? thanks.

If this doesn't work, then take the laptop and power adapter to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined.
