I have an Iphone 6 with iOS 12.4.4 is the latest update Ibought an apple watch series 3 and they won't pair, It says to update my phone but that is the latest update. Other than getting a new phone is there another solution?

Unfortunately you will need an iPhone 6S or newer in order to pair your watch.

A new Apple watch3 has watchos6 software on it and this requires a phone which has ios13 or higher,your iphone 6 can't update to ios13 which is why they won't pair.You need an iphone 6s or higher to pair with that watch.

You have 14 days in which to return the watch for a full refund.

A new apple watch 3 or 5 will NOT pair with an iphone 6 or lower,apple watch 3 and 5 have software version watchos6 on them,this requires an iphone with ios13 or higher on them.Iphones with ios13 are an iphone 6s, or higher.Iphone 6 can only update to ios12 maximum.

An apple watch 5 requires a phone with ios13 or higher which is an iphone 6s or higher,your iphone 6 will only update to ios12.

If the apple watch 4 has watchos6 on it then you need a phone with ios13 or higher.
