Bose wireless connection to MacBook Pro

Trying to figure out how to connect my wireless Bose qc35 to my MacBook Pro. Any guidance would be appreciated. I clicked on the Bluetooth icon on the top of my computer and it showed my Iphone with a connect/disconnect button, my Ipad with a connect/disconnect button, then the computer that I'd like to connect with NO connect/disconnect button. Anyone had a similar experience?
