Why can't I upgrade my iMac to Catalina? The option does not show up in my System Preferences, which says my software is up to date. I am running Mojave 10.14.6. My iMac is from late 2013.

If that does not work

You can use internet recovery to install Catalina


This will not delete your files, but a backup is allways recomended whenever you do any large changes with your mac.

Option-⌘-R
Upgrade to the latest macOS that is compatible with your Mac.
