Contact Microsoft:
Microsoft is the "developer" of the software. So, contact them and see what they have to say about this. Perhaps there is an "upgrade" option or some other promotion. It's the time of year you'd expect to see sales(Christmas Season). Start here, with the Virtual Support Agent. It's worth a go.
