How should I raise the volume of a talent whose voice tapers off at the end of a sentence?

Good morning to all.

Let me give a brief background to my problem. When I am having my sermons delivered in English translated into Telugu [and also into Hindi], my Telugu translator has this kind of voice characteristic: she has a high decibel volume at the start of her speech, maintains it throughout most of the sentence, but, towards the end, her volume rapidly tapers and almost difficult to catch.

I would like to know whether there is any settings in compressor or any other effect that I can set [in GarageBand or FCPX] so that this very unequal volume level can be made uniform?

You could try to add a compressor plug-in to the vocal track in the plug-ins section of the Smart Controls for the vocal track.

There are many presets. Try the "Narration" preset.

If the compressor does not suffice, you can adjust the volume for the track manually with the "Volume" automation curve.

Let me show the image of 'Vocal Smooth' plugin:

I have saved these settings as 'patches' so that I can easily add the altered plugins to future recordings.

Good, that you found a setting that is working for you.

If you create an unnecessary post in this forum, you have to be quick to edit it. There is a window of fifteen minutes, where you can edit what you wrote, but you cannot delete the post, just remove the text and turn it into an empty reply.

Very very good good morning Leonie. Was sort of expecting you to give me an answer. Actually I was able to find the solution by 'playing around' with the effects. I added 'Vocal smooth' in the compressor of 'Narration' effect...and this was able to keep the volume of the sentence at a decent level throughout. I have also 'played around' with the other plugins and I feel that the problem has been attended too.

The manual adjustment using the volume automation curve will be a tedious affair for the clip is of nearly one hour and 30 minutes duration and applying changes to every sentence spoken by the woman would take me a whole day.

I have saved as presets the 'patches' that I have effected so that I can easily add the patch in future recordings. Here is the screenshot showing 'vocal smooth' added rot compressor:
