Do I need to put my apple watch in my pocket when I do stairmaster.
I just received a new applewatch. I use stairmaster. I put the applewatch in my pocket to ensure it saw my steps while i use stairs. Did not show any? What should I do

There is a stair stepper workout on the watch and you wear the watch as normal select it in the workout app on the watch.
